Pellet Stove & Inserts

Environmentally Friendly Fire

Pellet stoves and inserts burn compressed wood pellets. Pellet stoves are considered more environmentally friendly because they emit fewer pollutants than firewood.

Regular homeowner cleaning is required and though fairly simple, pellet stoves require additional annual maintenance by a technically trained professional to ensure that your unit continues to work well and burning properly. Not only does our pellet service include taking the appliance totally apart for a proper cleaning, we also clean the entire venting system as well.

Pellet stoves and inserts have a variety of moving parts and electrical mechanism that can collect the byproduct of burning pellets (dust and ash).

Before your technician arrives, please make sure the pellet hopper is empty and that the stove has not been used at all that day. It must be cool so that our technician can service the unit.
