Sweeping Away Cancer
Anderson’s Chimney and Masonry Services participates in a yearly charitable drive that supports breast cancer survivors, current patients, caregivers, and loved ones. This initiative is an opportunity for our company to not only work together with our communities but also with other chimney professionals across the nation. Sweep Away Cancer works to raise awareness and to raise money for a cause close to our hearts. What do chimney sweeping have to do with breast cancer? Everything! Collectively, women make up 85 percent of customers booking appointments with chimney sweeps. It’s true that men are diagnosed with breast cancer, but less than 1 percent of new cases are in men. The biggest risk factor for getting breast cancer in your life is being a woman, and the chimney industry wants to help “give back” by helping to Sweep Away Cancer each year.

Our technicians don’t only work in the area, but also live here. We help to support the schools and organizations which our family and neighbors attend.
